just my few cents: i leave all notes and handouts on a public website (also as a service to the community), and keep all student communication and class-specific things (e.g., grades) on connex, with links to the public one, so students still have a one-stop shop (i believe connex can also do automatic html embedding or reverse proxy to get the public pages “integrated” with connex’s look&feel). if we can get our educational resources reach more people (outreach, recruiting, etc), why not?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
