Dear Engineering Colleagues: china scholarship council (csc) has announced\u00a0
its 2016 programs to support professors, postdocs, and students at phd,\u00a0
masters and undergrad levels to visit oversea universities for degrees,\u00a0
thesis researches or research visits, and most application deadlines at\u00a0
csc are near the end of march 2016 (different chinese universities may\u00a0
have early internal deadlines). please see the detailed info below.\u00a0
unfortunately, most csc website is in chinese, so i added a bit\u00a0
translation in english too. if you need help, feel free to let me or david\u00a0
at uvic international affairs office know, or check with a chinese faculty\u00a0
member near you. hope it helps and feel free to forward to others maybe\u00a0

provide a tuition waiver; no tuition waiver offered by uvic so normally 
uvic supervisors provide a research assistantship in the same amount as 
uvic tuition) or thesis research (also 500 home university research 
advisors can visit the hosting university as well) in oversea universities<\/p>\n\n\n\n
