I am a PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, where I am advised by Dr. Jianping Pan. I obtained my MSc in Computer Science from the same university in 2023, and BEng in Computer Science and Technology from Zhejiang Gongshang University, China in 2017. Since 2017, I spent four years working as a backend software engineer in startup companies in Shanghai and Hangzhou. My current research interests are primarily centered around various aspects of computer networking protocols and applications. This includes measuring the performance of low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite networks (Starlink/OneWeb), exploring adaptive video streaming and new protocols such as multipath QUIC.
