Time to really put students, both undergrad and graduate, first! If we cannot give students the best education and research training whenever possible, we are not doing our job as a university, an instructor or a research advisor!

a recent, similar scandal in bc—unfortunately a uvic student lost his life (a real tragedy) and tons of tax-payers dollars wasted, just due to a few incompetent overreactions!
