csc466/586b (p2p&advnet) project presentation

napster, gnutella, kazaa, bittorrent, skype, pplive, … if any of these names sound familiar to you, you probably have already known and/or even used peer-to-peer networking technologies a lot!

wifi, bluetooth, software radio, online music/video/game/messaging/social, … if any of these terms sound familiar to you, you probably have already seen and/or experienced the new communication technologies and disruptive applications that have driven the advancement of computer communications and networks a lot in the last few years!

like to know what’s going on underneath and what’s next? come to see the course project presentations of csc466/586b (p2p and overlay networking; advanced computer networks), where you can find a group of hard working uvic students who have been building the next “big” thing throughout this term (some of these projects are shortlisted in this year’s or targeting on the next year’s bcnet broadband innovation challenge contest!)
