did you promise $500 for the team this year? see the message way
below. last year, the overrun was not because the team spent more, but
because the dept cut the budget from $1,000 to $500, even though the univ
budget cut promised not to affect student programs, and we fund-raised
$300+ to pay back the grad student coach. if you have someone to take care
of these students when they had contests, i even did not have to do so
as a dept member, can we ask you to open/list the dept budget? thanks
