Dr. Kube is a voting member of ISA SP99 and is actively involved in the IEEE and IETF, as well as other standards bodies. He has co-authored a number of security standards and best practices for the industrial automation industry and has received numerous industry recognition awards.
Before starting Wurldtech with co-founder Tyler Williams in 2006, Kube was an assistant professor of computer science at the University of Victoria where he taught graduate classes in network security and conducted research in embedded systems testing, multi threaded/data flow processor architecture, functional and declarative languages, and fault-tolerant computing for the US Department of Defense. Dr. Kube also worked as a technical advisor with the Group for Advanced Information Technology (GAIT) at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, where he designed a number of security technologies for the Industrial Automation industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, as well as master’s and doctoral degrees in computer science from the University of Victoria.”
